Happy Birthday to Me!

Howdy! You're invited to have a whole mess of fun all on account of me turing one!

YeeHaw! Thanks to all the folks that showed up to my cowboy birthday party. We had a mess of a time! Turning one was so much fun! Check out the shots from my party, but be prepared to have FUN!

My very own birthday banner. Mommy and Daddy hung it up for the whole week! It helped build the excitment! I could hardly keep my boots on!

My first birthday cake. Yeah, mommy went a tad overboard-- but for a good cause. The cake was not only beautiful (well handsome), but tasted great too! Yee-Haw! I am 1!

In case you weren't a cake person-- there were plenty of other goodies for you to pick from. Like these rice krispies dipped in icing.

Or try a cake pop. These were a huge hit. Mommy ate 3....shhhh....don't tell.

Or try a homemade cherry pie! These were Papa's favorite.

And finally, the kids favorite....the cookies. There was something for everyone!

Before my friends left, they each got a cowboy themed book as a party favor for kickin' it with me at my bash.

As they picked their book they got to see my name in letters... you know because I was the star that day.

My Mommy and Daddy-- the hostesses. Thanks guys. It was fun!

Now the real fun! I was so excited I didn't know what to do first...hummmmm.......

The party guests played pin the mustache on me! Adian did a pretty good job don't you think?

You could also play Cowboy Ringtoss.

And the favorite of the day- Tin Can Shootin'. The goal was to knock down the cans with the marshmellow gun that Papa and MamaJo bought me. It was so much fun for all ages! The adults even played this one!

Then I took a break from all the fun to take a stroll with Papa on his scooter. Giddy up!

Then we headed inside to open all my gifts! Boy OH Boy! I was one lucky cowboy!

Daddy got excited when I opened this one... a construction truck. I can't wait to try this one out!

Then it was time for my SMASH cake. As you can see I could hardly wait!!! A cowboy gets hungry after a hard day on the ranch!

I think it is safe to say that I liked it. YUMMY! It was one great 1st birthday! Thanks to all the folks that made it special for this here cowboy.

Happy 2011 Fall Y'all!

Greetings friends and family! Hope that your fall is off to a great start. I am loving this weather. And now that I am a walker, I am enjoying playing outside in this beautiful weather. Can you believe that I am turning one next month? Mommy and Daddy are planning my cowboy themed party and I hope that you will all make it to celebrate with me. In true Mommy fashion she scheduled a photo shoot since I am turing one! Here are some of the shots that Aunt Janelle took. Hope that you are all enjoying the nice weather and HAPPY HALLOWEEN. I can't wait to ring foor bells. I am going to use my smile to try to get double the candy...for Mommy and Daddy to eat of course!

Fall is in the air!

Even though I can walk... sometimes it is easier to crawl. I look determined in this one. Wonder what I am thinking? You'll never know!

Me and my Daddy! He is so much fun. One of my favorite things is flying in the air and Daddy does this best.

Like my hat? I wanted to be like Daddy. Who wouldn't?

So, this isn't from the photo shoot, but from Halloween night. I went to Rivermist with Gran Ann and got some candy. Wasn't I the cutest little spider?!?!
Happy Fall All! Love,
The Flemings

At 10 months....I'm a Walker!

Well guys. After many weeks practicing pushing this wagon I finally figured out walking. It took me a bit, but the wagon really pushed me in the right direction. My cousin Ethan put me through a training session when he visiting and got me going. Here is me practicing.

Then after a few weeks... I was ready to do it. Here I am taking my first few steps. I am a tad wobbly, but I think you will agree that I deserve a round of applause! Mommy and Daddy- you better get to baby proofing:)

Look out world...here I come!

Mexico Beach- July 2011

I had my first beach trip with the Fleming Family! Mommy and Daddy braved a 7 hour car drive to get me there. I was an angel on the way there because all I could dream about was ocean waves and sunshine! Lets just say the trip home was a different story. Sorry Mommy!

Welcome to Mexico Beach 2011. Beacon's Bluff. The Fleming Family Tradition.

Nothing like a week with your cousins. We had lots of play time, hugs, and QT. Gang's all here!

So, I was a little too young to understand that sand wasn't tasty. I had to learn it the hard way-- over and over again. Maybe next year I will remember that the sand wasn't meant to eat. We'll see....

Mam-maw loved building sand castles with us! She is so much fun!!

We got to eat at lots of tasty seafood resturants. Yes, the Flemings were brave enough to take 3 kids out. They are amazing right?? While out eating on this trip, I learned my new favorite trick. Who knew a straw could be so entertaining? Well, an eight month old- that's who! Check it out... and don't judge my hair. I was on vacation!

One of my favorite things to do was to wade in the water with daddy. The waves were fun and made me giggle!

The men! They were so nice and carried my wagon load of stuff to and from the beach every day! Mommy said she couldn't of done it without their help! I hope to be just like them one day.

I didn't need a sound machine on the beach- just Mommy and a bottle. The sound was so peaceful. I enjoyed my afternoon bottle on the beach daily.

Whew. A day in the sun and water can do a little man in. After a full belly and stroll on the beach I was out. Good times!

There is nothing like family time, the waves, sun, and a cool breeze. Heres to a great summer and many more great trips! Happy 4th of July! God bless.

It's Offical! I am 6 Months Old!

Wait for it..... I am 6 months old! I know it is hard to believe. Mommy and Daddy can't believe it. It seems like yesterday we were at Northside and today we are home, happy, healthy, and BIG! Aunt Janelle came by to document this milestone with wait for it.... a photoshoot! As you can see I am becoming my own. Happy Summer to all!

St. Patty's Day & Easter 2011

Come on! You know you want to kiss me! As you can see I remembered to wear green on my first St. Patty's Day! Lets just say that the luck of the Irish was with me this March because only 11 days later I rolled over for the first time. Yep, you heard me. Check it out below!
Well. I grew up a ton in just a month. By the time Easter came I was a little man. I headed to Waynesboro for the holiday. We got there so we could go to Mrs. Teresa's suprise party. All my cousins were there. I had fun meeting new people too. Happy Birthday Mrs. Teresa!
My first Easter was so much fun! I was so blessed to get to spend it with my family. I went to a church egg hunt with Mommy and MamaJo. I didn't really hunt eggs, but next year those kids better watch out! I did get to get dressed up. I must say that I impressed the ladies at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.
Again, the whole Swan clan was together. It was nice to be with the ones you love.
Happy Easter and God Bless!

Sunny Days with Family

Finally! Since the day I was born, Georgia has seen 3 snow falls. Mommy kept telling me about going for walks and sunny weather, but so far I had only read about it in books. Then the sun came!!! Finally, I got to experience it! I love getting out and getting fresh air!!! I can't wait for the summer when we can do this everyday!

Sunshiny days! Everybody smiling!
Lately, I have been spending a lot of time with family! They are the best! Here are a few pictures of some special family moments. Don't you think I am getting so big!?!

I got invited to my first birthday party! Daddy thought it was neccessary for me to wear a party hat. Don't I look thrilled!
PawPaw and his boys. All the Fleming boys. Sawyer always takes great care of me. He is a great big cousin.

Greatgrandma Rodie! She is doing better these days and couldn't wait to hold me again. She told me the best stories.
To be honest, what I do best these days is sleep. Mommy is so happy that I have decided to sleep through the night. I mean....what is the big deal? It makes her so happy that I just do it. Don't tell her that I really just love to sleep! Mommy and daddy always say they know when I am really asleep because of my classic arm pose. I don't know what they're talking about...do you?
