It's Offical! I am 6 Months Old!

Wait for it..... I am 6 months old! I know it is hard to believe. Mommy and Daddy can't believe it. It seems like yesterday we were at Northside and today we are home, happy, healthy, and BIG! Aunt Janelle came by to document this milestone with wait for it.... a photoshoot! As you can see I am becoming my own. Happy Summer to all!

St. Patty's Day & Easter 2011

Come on! You know you want to kiss me! As you can see I remembered to wear green on my first St. Patty's Day! Lets just say that the luck of the Irish was with me this March because only 11 days later I rolled over for the first time. Yep, you heard me. Check it out below!
Well. I grew up a ton in just a month. By the time Easter came I was a little man. I headed to Waynesboro for the holiday. We got there so we could go to Mrs. Teresa's suprise party. All my cousins were there. I had fun meeting new people too. Happy Birthday Mrs. Teresa!
My first Easter was so much fun! I was so blessed to get to spend it with my family. I went to a church egg hunt with Mommy and MamaJo. I didn't really hunt eggs, but next year those kids better watch out! I did get to get dressed up. I must say that I impressed the ladies at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.
Again, the whole Swan clan was together. It was nice to be with the ones you love.
Happy Easter and God Bless!

Sunny Days with Family

Finally! Since the day I was born, Georgia has seen 3 snow falls. Mommy kept telling me about going for walks and sunny weather, but so far I had only read about it in books. Then the sun came!!! Finally, I got to experience it! I love getting out and getting fresh air!!! I can't wait for the summer when we can do this everyday!

Sunshiny days! Everybody smiling!
Lately, I have been spending a lot of time with family! They are the best! Here are a few pictures of some special family moments. Don't you think I am getting so big!?!

I got invited to my first birthday party! Daddy thought it was neccessary for me to wear a party hat. Don't I look thrilled!
PawPaw and his boys. All the Fleming boys. Sawyer always takes great care of me. He is a great big cousin.

Greatgrandma Rodie! She is doing better these days and couldn't wait to hold me again. She told me the best stories.
To be honest, what I do best these days is sleep. Mommy is so happy that I have decided to sleep through the night. I mean....what is the big deal? It makes her so happy that I just do it. Don't tell her that I really just love to sleep! Mommy and daddy always say they know when I am really asleep because of my classic arm pose. I don't know what they're talking about...do you?

Snow Day, Jan. 10, 2011

What would you know--I am only 7 weeks old and I have seen snow twice already! Just call me a little snowflake! Daddy got to stay home today with me and mommy. Mommy was very excited. After daddy worked from home for a bit we all decided to take a brief adventure in the snow. Don't worry...I stayed dry and warm. The adventure was brief, but just perfect too!

Me in 4 layers of clothes. Mommy kept laughing at me and saying I reminded her of some boy from a Christmas movie. I have no idea what she was talking about?! Do you? P.S. I am inside on a blanket. My parents would never put me in the snow. It looks like it though, huh?

Our family photo. Mommy told daddy he only had 30 seconds to get the shot. She was worried about me getting too cold, but I was fine. She worries so much! Then mommy took me inside for a nap. Then her, daddy, and Marley played for a bit longer.
Daddy, Marley, and mommy having fun in the snow! Burrr!! Glad I was safe inside snoozing.

Marley could barely walk in the deep snow! We got around 5 inches! Mommy had to pick him up to help him get warm.
After my nap, me and mommy spent some time getting dry by the fire. It was nice and snuggly.

Then we all got changed and warmed up to settle in for a movie day. Snow days are so much fun!I can't wait for next winter so I can make a snowman. Happy snow day 2011 all!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Better late, then never. I might not be a newborn anymore--I mean I am 7 weeks old, but I really wanted to share these photos with you. I have just been one busy boy! After the holidays I stayed with my PawPaw and Mamaw while mommy and daddy went on a weekend getaway. Then MamaJo and Papa came to visit this weekend. Life has been busy, but life is good! The photo shoot below wasn't easy, but somebodys gotta do it! Check out my friend's blog, Miss Janelle's Pretty Pictures. She is the one who took these shots. I know that my family will cherish them forever. Thanks Miss Janelle!

Me and my puppy, Marley! He always looks out for me. We are going to be the best of friends!
This basket was quite cozy. I could of stayed here for days!

This hat is special. All of the Fleming boys have worn it for newborn pictures. Mommy says my lips look full here. Honestly, I am looking for my paci, but we will let mommy think it is good genes.

This is daddy's favorite....go figure and GO DAWGS!

Can you tell how proud these two are of me? Feeling the love!

A head full of hair. Everyone said I would loose my hair, but so far so good. Only time will tell.

My famous pouty face. Shortly after this look, my bottom lip will start quivering and then it is on.

My first Christmas with my parents and tree.

My angel picture. I hope mommy and daddy remember this picture in a few years when I might not be acting like a little angel!

If you guys only knew what I was thinking in this shot! Well, I will just keep that one to myself!

Baby's First Chritmas

PawPaw and Mamaw's Three Wisemen
My first Christmas was magical! I jumped in with both feet and followed the Fleming's family traditions! On Christmas Eve, mommy called Santa to let him know that we would be staying at Uncle Chris and Aunt Magill's like mommy and daddy have done in the past. Santa said that would be fine...so off we went to Gainsville with PawPaw and Mamaw! We started the night off with a candle light service at church. The service was amazing and we got to experience it as a whole family. Let the Christmas traditions begin!
Dressed for church! My shoes wouldn't stay on, but I'd say I looked pretty handsome. :)
When we got back from church we wrote Santa a note, put out reindeer food, put out Santa's milk and cookies, and then got ready for bed.

All the of the Fleming boys had matching Christmas Eve PJs from Aunt Magill! After bathtime we all snuggled for a bit and then off to bed so Santa could come!

Once all us kiddos went to sleep the adults continued on with their tradtion of Chirtmas Eve dinner. Mommy said dinner was yummy! Again, I was fine with my bottles.

Next thing I knew it was Christmas morning! Santa had come to see me! I got lots of fun things! I may have only been a few weeks old, but I had been good. Thanks, Santa!

We opened gifts together and looked at each other's toys. Then it was time to go home to get ready for lunch at PawPaw and Mamaws! Look at my silly daddy in Santa's hat!!
At Christmas day dinner I got to meet someone extra special! My Great Grandmother, Rodie! She cooed and ahhed to me all day. Daddy said she gives the best back scratches and that she is one special lady. I love you Grandma Rodie!
Christmas was wonderful! Mommy said Christmas was the most wonderful time of the year and now I understand why she said so. I hope that you all had as much fun with family and friends as we did! Oh, wait one more thing happened on my first Christmas....it snowed! My very 1st Christmas was a white Christmas!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR! MAY THIS BE A MAGICAL ONE!

Thanksgiving & The Swan's Christmas

A lot has happened since my last post. I experienced my first holiday season! Thanksgiving was just me, mommy, & daddy! I was too tiny to travel anywhere so we couldn't make it to my Aunt Sara and Uncle Stewart's. We had planned to go to PawPaw & Mamaw's house, but there were too many germs going around so we stayed home. Mommy said she didn't mind because she had so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving...me! Daddy just kept giving me kisses saying that I was his little turkey. I was fine staying put because I wasn't interested in the turkey...my bottles were all I needed. Lucky for mommy and daddy-- PawPaw & Mamaw stopped by and brought them a Thanksgiving feast. Maybe next year I will be ready to join in on the turkey
tradition!

A few weeks later we got to see family when I made my first road trip. Mommy said that I did great! I didn't make a peep the whole way there--now the way home was a different story. I enjoyed going to Waynesboro to see everyone. Mommy and me went down for a whole week! I got to snuggle with Papa and spend lots of time meeting MamaJo and Papa's friends. The whole Swan clan came too! My cousins finally got to hold me. They were all fun, but loud. I can't wait to run circles around the house with them soon! Overall it was a great first Christmas celebration!

Me and Papa hanging out in his favorite spot!

Aunt Jenny came to hang out too!
Me and Daddy at the Chirstmas party. I was a trooper and partied all night!

My Aunt Jenn!

Mommy and Papa hanging out. Papa says mommy is his baby!

My MamaJo. She took extra special care of me all week. I miss her so.

All, well almost all (Embee is missing), of the Swan cousins. They couldn't get enough of me--or is it they want MamaJo back? Well, I'd like to think it is me!

Visiting in Waynesboro was great, but I sure was glad to come back home.
There's no place like HOME!
